America is turning 250 — and our students have something to say.
Davis School District is hosting Voices of a Nation: Student Perspectives on 250 Years of America, a districtwide speaking event aligned with America 250 Utah.
Students from every school and grade level are invited to apply to deliver an original speech about America’s past, present or future.
Selected students will receive mentorship and take the stage on May 4, 2026, at the Davis Instructional Services Center in Layton. The event will be professionally produced and live streamed for the community.
You don’t have to be famous to have something worth saying.
Take the mic. Share your idea. Be part of the story.

Junior Hope Squad is having a fundraiser! From January 15-February 5 please bring brand new toothbrushes. We are collecting them for the Teen Center.
The Candy Cane Fundraiser for Student Council will be December 8-12th! Candy canes will be $1. They will be sold before and after school in the front foyer. Come and buy a candy cane for a friend.

IT IS TIME!!! Presenting our school Production of "Dare to Dream Jr. A Disney Musical Revue" auditions are on Friday, December 12th after school. Students grades 3-6 only. The sign-ups for auditions are right outside the office along with information about the show!

Our Veterans Day Assembly is on November 11 at 9:15 am, in the covered courtyard. We'll have the Honor Wall, Veteran's VIP seating, and a program presented by our Purple Star students here at Centerville. We invite all veterans to join us, especially parents and grandparents of our Purple Star students.

Wednesday: "Every ribbon shows we care-Drug free kids are everywhere" Tie a ribbon on the fence to show our community we are drug free.
Thursday: "Turn your back to drugs" Wear your clothes backwards.
Friday: "You're the missing piece-school spirit day" Wear your school shirts or our school colors (yellow and blue) to show we are part of a drug free community.
